Urban Land Institute names new manager

TAMPA — Siobhan O'Kane has been named manager of the Tampa Bay District Council of the Urban Land Institute.

O'Kane will lead overall direction, management, event planning, operational support and communication services for the land institute, according to a statement. O'Kane has more than 10 years experience leading urban and environmental planning projects. She most recently served as a principal planner for Rhode Island, the statement adds, where she worked on new strategic housing and economic development plans.

The Urban Land Institute, founded in 1936, is a nonprofit education and research institute. The ULI Tampa Bay District Council sponsors educational forums and events such as trends conferences and housings programs.
