St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport had its biggest November ever for passenger traffic, with 134,960 passengers.

That figure is a 31% increase over November 2014, according to a statement. On a year-to-date-basis passenger traffic through November at the airport has increased 33% over the first 11 months of 2014. Domestic travel, say airport officials, is up 33% and international travel is up 20%. The bulk of the passengers fly to nearly 50 nonstop destinations served by Allegiant Air.

October, like November, was also a record-breaking month for the airport, with more than 136,000 passengers.
