Hospital opens store at mall

ESTERO — Hospital operator Lee Memorial Health System plans to open a store at Coconut Point Mall next week.

The store will open Dec. 12 at 23190 Fashion Drive in the open-air mall in Estero. It is designed to provide residents of fast-growing south Lee County with services ranging from early detection of disease to chronic disease management.

Called the Health Life Center, the facility will be staffed with health guides and advocates. It will host daily wellness programs ranging from stress management to nutrition with Lee Memorial and affiliated physicians.

The move is part of Lee Memorial's expansion of medical services in south Lee County, including construction of a medical center, also near the mall.
