TAMPA — Youth sports league franchise i9 Sports President and COO Brian Sanders has been promoted to CEO, part of several executive moves the company recently made.

Sanders served in his previous roles for the past seven years, according to a statement. He replaces Frank Fiume, who will stay on the board as chairman and serve as an adviser to Sanders.

The company, with 130 locations nationwide, spanning from Hawaii to New York, also announced Kim Armellino will move into a new role as vice president of finance and administration. Armellino has been with i9 since it was founded in 2003, most recently serving as vice president of finance. She will oversee human resources, purchasing and contracts and office administration.

Rounding out the list of new executives is Jesus Romo, who has been brought in as vice president of operations. Romo will be responsible for managing the company's franchise business coaches, the help desk, customer service center and IT department.

i9 Sports offers leagues, camps and clinics to kids between ages 3 and 14. It was named the No. 1 children's fitness franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine.
