TAMPA — RV dealership Lazydays, in an expansion move, purchased a 3.76-acre property next to its Tampa campus that includes a vacant building and 14 additional service bays.
Lazydays purchased the property from company founder Don Wallace for $3.05 million, according to Hillsborough County property records.
With the parcel, the Lazydays campus along Interstate 4 east of Tampa will grow to 126 acres, according to a statement. The site currently houses more than 1,200 RVs, at least 220 service bays and a 300-site RV resort.
“This is a fantastic addition to our Florida campus, and I would like to thank Don Wallace for being a great partner in helping make this happen,” Lazydays Chief Executive Tim Sheehan says in the release. “We look forward to adding even more great features to our campus.”
Lazydays plans to open the 14 service bays immediately, according to the statement, and expects to announce its plans for the remainder of the property in the near future. Lazydays, the release adds, has the largest selection of RV brands in the country.
