Tampa data tech firm expanding to Atlanta

TAMPA -- Growing technology and business intelligence consulting firm Convergence Consulting Group is expanding to Atlanta. The 13-year-old Tampa company says Atlanta became the logical choice for its second location after the firm developed a strong client base there. It expects that the new Atlanta location will allow the company to increase its level of service across the Southeast and its overall service offerings.

Leading Convergence Consulting Group's regional expansion is Greg Anderson, who recently joined the firm from Microsoft. He is based in Atlanta and will oversee the firm's business development activities throughout the Southeast, outside of Florida. He will also represent Convergence Consulting Group to The Georgia CIO Leadership Association.

Convergence Consulting Group says it is actively hiring experienced technology consultants in the Atlanta area. The new office will be located at 2 Ravinia Drive, Suite 500, Atlanta.

According to the Business Observer's Gulf Coast 500, the company has 45 employees and generated $10.5 million in gross revenue last year.
