SELLER: Moore-Hicks Limited Partnership
PROPERTY: 800 Broadway, Longboat Key
PRICE: $3.2 million
PREVIOUS PRICE: $757,400, June 1999
LAW FIRM ON DEED: Najmy Thompson PL, Bradenton

PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
The owners of Shore Food Group, Tom Leonard and Mark Caragiulo, purchased the 9,275-square-foot Moore's Stone Crab building for $3.2 million.

The price equated to $345 per square foot.

The 48-year-old Moore's Stone Crab Restaurant closed with the sale.

Caragiulo and Leonard expect to spend the next year designing and going through the Longboat Key government approval process to build a new restaurant on the site. They expect it to be similar to the Shore on St. Armands Circle, which they own, and including a patio, equipped with a retractable roof. The new building will also feature a second Shore Brand boutique.

Caragiulo is also involved in Owen's Fish Camp and his family's Caragiulos restaurant.
