Home prices in the North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton region remain in high growth mode.

The latest news: Home prices, including distressed sales, rose 10.6% in June compared with June 2014, according to the June 2015 CoreLogic Home Price Index. On a month-over-month basis, home prices, including distressed sales, increased 2.3% in June 2015 over May, the report adds.

The increases in the region top the gains in prices nationally, according to CoreLogic, a real estate data analytics firm. Home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 6.5% in June compared with June 2014. That makes it 40 months in a row with year-over-year increases in home prices nationally, CoreLogic states. On a month-over-month basis, home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 1.7% in June 2015 over May.
