Naples Transportation, Tours creates fleet service business
Naples Transportation & Tours has opened a fleet maintenance division. The multibuilding property, at 2315 J&C Blvd., Naples in the J&C Industrial Park, will service the company's fleet as well as vehicles belonging to other commercial businesses operating in the area.

The 2-acre property contains 5,500 square feet of industrial space. It will be operated seven days a week. Naples Transportation & Tours has hired three mechanics.

“The steady growth of our company has required us to identify larger facilities for the servicing of our vehicles,” Randy Smith, CEO of Naples Transportation & Tours, says in a press release. “As we researched this venture, we found a lot of other businesses, like landscape contractors, air-conditioning firms and pest control firms, who had the same needs for vehicle servicing.”

Naples Transportation & Tour has operated in Collier County for more than 25 years and employs more than 80 people. It operates a fleet of 54 vehicles and runs Naples Trolley Tours, Everglades Excursions and Segway Tours of Naples.

Twinlab Consolidation Corp. names St. Pete new headquarters
The New York City health and wellness company behind MetaboLife products and Alvita teas, Twinlab Consolidation Corp., announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to downtown St. Petersburg. The company has leased two floors, totaling 30,600 square feet, in First Central Tower.

Twinlab Consolidation says the new headquarters was needed because it has outgrown its current corporate office space and expects its business to grow even further following recent mergers and acquisitions. It will relocate 80 people to the St. Petersburg headquarters from its facilities in New York City; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Utah.

Tom Tolworthy, Twinlab Consolidation's CEO, says that along with additional office space, the new facility will allow the firm o expand manufacturing at its facility in American Fork, Utah.

A joint venture of Feldman Equities, Tower Realty Partners and Second City Real Estate acquired First Central Tower, a 17-story, 250,000-square-foot office building, late last year. The buildings owners plan to invest nearly $10 million in building renovations and tenant improvements, including the creation of a fitness center.

The building is anchored by BB&T Bank.

Trxade hires Amzur for new CRM system
Trxade Inc., a marketplace for independent pharmacies, has chosen to implement NetSuite OneWorld, a product from Tampa-based Amzur Technologies.

NetSuite OneWorld will replace Trxade's use of disparate systems that include QuickBooks, salesforce.com, and numerous Excel spreadsheets as its new customer relationship management system.

UBreakiFix chain opens third S.W. Florida store
Orlando-based gadget repair chain uBreakiFix has opened its third store in Southwest Florida. The new Cape Coral location is at 2221 Santa Barbara Blvd., Suite 103, Cape Coral. The company already has stores in Fort Myers and Naples.

“We've had residents of Cape Coral visiting our Fort Myers location for years asking us when we were going to open a store on their side of the Caloosahatchee [River],” Justin Murphy, co-owner of uBreakiFix Cape Coral, says in a press release.

Tennis association media hires managing director
St. Petersburg's Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and the digital sports content group Perform have named John Learing as managing director for the new broadcast production and distribution partnership WTA Media. The new venture also appointed Bruno Rocha as executive vice president.

The creation of WTA Media is part of a $500 million live media agreement the partners made in December. It calls for all WTA tournament rights to be collected, centralized and delivered through one media rights owner. From 2017, all main draw singles matches, doubles semifinals and finals will be broadcast.

WTA Media will create news content, magazine shows and off-court content around the association.

Learing previously held positions at ESPN, the PGA Tour and, currently, the WTA. Rocha is Perform's senior vice president of distribution and client services in North America.
