TAMPA -- The interim title has been lifted from Bruce VanWingerden's job description, has he becomes the new permanent president and CEO of MediaLab 3D Solutions.

VanWingerden took over the job earlier this month following the April 2 death of founding partner Mike Lozicki.

VanWingerden also is a founding partner, working with the digital asset and interactive services company since it opened more than 20 years ago. MediaLab focuses on the residential building and consumer product industries.

MediaLab clients include Whirlpool, Lennar, American Standard, KitchenAid, ClosetMaid, and Stanley Black & Decker. The company creates photo-realistic 3-D images and animations of products, expanding last year into turning training programs into 3-D interactive presentations.

Lozicki died from a heart attack while dirt biking with friends and family.

MediaLab has more than 130 full-time employees, and partners with more than 75 global consumer products companies and 150 residential and commercial builders worldwide.
