There are some changes at the executive level for Diaz Fritz Isabel, the Temple Terrace-based general contractor that boasts annual revenues of more than $17 million.

Scott Isabel is retiring as president of the firm after 27 years. Del Diaz, founder and CEO, will take over Isabel's responsibilities as well, managing the company's 18 employees.

Diaz Fritz Isabel has been busy. The firm recently completed an expansion project at Tampa General Hospital, as well as headquarters for MarineMax and PODS.

Isabel joined what was then The Diaz/Fritz Group in 1988, when the company was 5 years old. He was named president in 2003.

Isabel plans to focus on his “equestrian passions,” traveling nationally and across the world to attend horse-related events. Isabel also will manage his four show horses.
