Five Benjamins for everyone

Like hotels, hospitals on the Gulf Coast have been packed with patients this busy winter season.

Allen Weiss, CEO of NCH Healthcare System in Naples, says all that hard work deserves special recognition. In a widely distributed weekly letter, Weiss announced every employee will get a $500 check, net of taxes and deductibles, as a thank you for their efforts.

“Such stellar performance demands just rewards,” writes Weiss. “We recognize that maintaining such quality and high standards is no easy feat in the face of such unprecedented demand.”

NCH, which operates two hospitals with 716 beds and employs more than 3,900 people, has added 283 new employees since the beginning of the year in anticipation of future growth.
