Rectrix, a fixed-based operator at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, has promoted executive Ashley Watts to president.

A University of South Florida graduate, Watts has worked at the Sarasota-Bradenton Rectrix facility since it was founded in 2008. She had been the vice president of administration and finance, according to a release. She will report to CEO Richard Cawley.

Rectrix, with a corporate headquarters and facility in Hyannis, Mass., provides general aviation services for private jets. That includes fueling planes, chartering flights, maintaining aircraft and providing storage space.

The company also named Michael Murphy director of business development, the release adds. Murphy previously worked for JetBlue Airways, where he was the regional sales manager for the Northeast market.
