PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Destiny Church Naples purchased the 9,000-square-foot former Faith Community Church of the Nazarene church for $1.3 million.

The building features a sanctuary, office space and facilities for children.

In 2012, the then 12-year-old church's structure was damaged when the ground shifted beneath it. Fearing a sinkhole, Faith Community Church of the Nazarene moved out of the building and for a time shared space in Destiny Church's meeting room on Immokalee Road. Eventually the church decided to sell the building.

“There was buried settlement, trees and such that caused the building to settle,” says Greg Ball, lead pastor for Destiny Church. “We hired a company out of Fort Myers that came in and repaired the building. They raised it up 2.5 inches and went down to solid rock.”

Destiny Church has been a mobile church in the area for the past seven years, most recently leasing space in Palmetto Ridge High School for Sunday services. Ball says the high school
