PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Ben, Brian and Dick Klaas of Klaas Capital Group in Naples purchased The Club at The Strand for $8.2 million.

The club features a 27-hole championship golf course and a 55,000-square-foot clubhouse with a pro shop, dining rooms, grand ballroom, boardroom, multimedia center, locker rooms, offices and meeting rooms. The property also includes Har-Tru tennis, bocce ball and basketball courts, a fitness facility and junior Olympic swimming pool. The Strand is a more than 585-acre community, located at the northwest corner of Interstate 75 and Immokalee Road that includes 75 acres of lakes and 96 acres of preserves.

The Club at The Strand offers several different memberships to residents and the public including for golf sports and dining.

The Klaas family already owns The Club at Grandezza in Estero and is offering reciprocity for members of either club. The Club at Grandezza features an 18-hole golf course in a 550-acre gated community.
