Financial firm names head of ops, tech

ST. PETERSBURG —Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. appointed Aimee Francoeur Tesoro as the firm's new vice president of technology and operations.

Tesoro previously worked for AXA Advisors, serving in a several leadership roles, including as head of retail operations and chief operating officer for the national division. She is a certified financial planner and holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 6, 7, 24 and 66 licenses. She earned a bachelor's degree in international business from The University of Tampa.

With more than 5,000 registered representatives, Transamerica Financial Advisors is one of the largest independent broker-dealer firms in the United States. It manages more than $31 billion in assets.
