Bowling center strikes award

Patrick Ciniello is a legend in bowling.

The Naples resident is president of QubicaAMF, one of the largest manufacturers of bowling equipment in the world.

Fortunately for Southwest Florida bowlers, Ciniello also has acquired bowling centers in the region and has been busy renovating them. He's also building a state-of-the-art bowling and amusement center near Southwest Florida International Airport.

Recently, Bowlers Journal International recognized Friendship Lanes in Cape Coral with its “best renovated center” award. Ciniello acquired the center in 2011 from a family that had owned it for 35 years.

In addition to renovating the building inside and out, Ciniello added a game zone and a VIP lounge and expanded the kitchen and bar. The center has been renamed HeadPinz.
