NAPLES — The City of Naples Airport Authority elected James Rideoutte as chair and reelected John Nocera as vice chair.

Rideoutte retired to Naples in 1989 after serving executive assignments throughout the country with the Internal Revenue Service. After moving to Naples, he served as executive director of the Naples Players for 12 years.

Nocera has owned Supreme Auto since 1974 and has been a resident of Naples for 39 years. He also has served as vice-mayor and Naples city council member.

The authority oversees the Naples Municipal Airport, home to flight schools, air charter operators, car rental agencies and corporate aviation. During the most recent fiscal year, the airport had 95,120 takeoffs and landings.
