If you've ever purchased chocolates from Norman Love, you know the packaging is as beautiful as the premium chocolates inside.

Graphic Design USA, an industry graphic-design publication, recently awarded Fort Myers-based Priority Marketing an American Package Design Award for its work on the pastry maestro's box of Love Origins gourmet chocolates.

The package includes a six-sectioned tray that holds six rectangular prism boxes with sleeves. Each slides open to reveal the gourmet dark-chocolate wafers inside. Each box contains a different chocolate and features a different custom graphic on its sleeve. The green tray and matching lid are wrapped in a sleeve that features the Love Origins logo, the Norman Love Confections logo and descriptive text.

Love Origins consists of six chocolates chosen for their unique flavor qualities as well as the post harvesting methods and preservation unique to each farm of origin. The cocoa beans come from farms in Bolivia, Dominican Republic and Peru.

For Love Origins, Norman Love selected farms with sound humanitarian and environmental business practices and the chocolate maker is investing a portion of the proceeds in the Rice Stove Project to improve the lives of cacao farm workers and families.
