Price named top woman lawyer

Collier County has a new top woman lawyer.

The Collier County Women's Bar Association named Kelley Geraghty Price the Woman Lawyer of the Year at a ceremony in Naples recently. The association presents the award to a woman lawyer who has excelled in her career, overcome stereotypes and promoted the status of women in the legal profession in the state of Florida.

Price is an attorney with Cohen & Grigsby who focuses on litigating complex business, employment and estate issues.

But Price is best known for her volunteer work in Naples, including the creation of the Foreclosure Task Force to help people at risk of losing their homes during the recession's foreclosure crisis. In addition, she has worked with the Wills for Heroes program, which provides estate planning for veterans and their spouses at no cost.
