BRADENTON — Achieva Credit Union, a Largo-based institution with $1 billion in assets and 112,000 members, has expanded to Manatee County.

The location, in Lockwood Commons Plaza, is Achieva's 19th branch in a network that stretches from Pasco to Collier counties. Achieva CEO Gary Regoli was among the area and credit union officials scheduled to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 27, according to a release.

Achieva was founded in 1937. It expanded to Cape Coral last year, with two new branches that featured freestanding teller pods and iPads for customers in the waiting area. It hired former Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce Director Donna Meola to manage both branches.
