CAPE CORAL — Paper-products distributor Green Innovations named its controller, Sugiarto “Awie” Kardiman, to chief financial officer.

Kardiman succeeds Bruce Harmon, Green Innovations chairman and co-founder. Harmon remains chairman to focus on strategic-planning requirements and implementation of various initiatives. He will serve as a consultant to the company on corporate finance, capital markets and related matters.

Before joining Green Innovations, Kardiman served as CFO of Oasis Brands, a leading tissue manufacturer based in North America.

“Awie is an outstanding financial executive with exceptional industry expertise, says Green Innovations CEO Philip Rundle, in a statement. “He served as my CFO at Oasis Brands from 2007 to 2010, where he was instrumental in successfully growing that business well above industry averages and increasing shareholder value. At Green Innovations, his proven professionalism and leadership is vital as we execute on an ambitious growth strategy.”

Green Innovations, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Green Hygienics, is the exclusive licensed North American distributor of American Hygienics Corp.'s bamboo-based product line, including personal care and paper-based goods.
