TAMPA — Revenue Management Solutions (RMS) has announced two new executive-level appointments. The company promoted George Fougeron, its president of North American operations, to president of business development and hired Joel Davis as its new vice president of operations.

Fougeron joined RMS in 2009. He was most recently responsible for overseeing client relations and operations for key accounts. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of the company and for building long-term value for its clients' brands.

Prior to joining RMS, Fougeron served for 28 years in senior management positions within International Dairy Queen (IDQ), including operations, marketing, franchise development, revenue management, financial management and franchisee relations. He also spent six years as an IDQ Master Franchisee.

The company says Davis will focus on creating strategic plans and operational systems to help the company improve its hospitality and retail pricing strategies.

Prior to joining RMS, Davis spent 13 years in key operational leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Davis led the largest team within Global Tour Operations, the third-largest onboard revenue center at Royal Caribbean. He also started the price optimization group for shore excursions, the first of its kind in the cruise industry.

“George's experience and leadership have been instrumental to the company's growth, bringing special insight in developing unique, win-win solutions for our clients,” Tom Kelly, chairman and CEO of RMS, says in a press release. “Meanwhile, Joel has already made a significant impact with his deep understanding of operations and systems development. Both will help drive our continued efforts to provide the best data-driven pricing and business solutions for our clients.”
