FORT MYERS — Florida SouthWestern State College is boosting its fundraising efforts by naming Joseph Mark Kramp as director of development for its foundation.

“Joseph is a welcome addition to the FSW Foundation as it sets out to develop more support and major gift contributions from the Southwest Florida community,” says Louis Traina, vice president of institutional advancement for the college, in a statement.

Formerly called Edison State College, Florida SouthWestern educates more than 22,000 students with two- and four-year degrees.

Prior to joining the college foundation, Kramp was an adjunct professor of religious studies and philosophy at universities across the region, including Florida SouthWestern. He has also been involved in fundraising initiatives at church-related ministries, institutions of public higher education and hospitals.

Kramp earned his doctorate and master's degrees in psychology of religion from Drew University in Madison, N.J., and a master's degree from the Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey.
