Two Beasley Broadcast execs named to Radio Ink's “Most Influential” list
Naples-based Beasley Broadcast Group Inc. announced its Executive Vice President and CFO Caroline Beasley and Vice President of Corporate Communications Denyse Mesnik have been named to Radio Ink Magazine's annual listing of the “Most Influential Women in Radio” for 2014. Inclusion on Radio Ink's list is based on a candidate's overall influence within the industry, as well as her ability to power and change radio and her long-term dedication to the medium.
Both women are involved in the radio broadcasting industry on a national and state level. Beasley is a past chairman of the Radio Board for the National Association of Broadcasters in Washington, D.C. She is also a trustee of the National Association of Broadcaters Political Action Committee.
Digital Observer Media handling digital marketing for Seminole Pride Noble
Seminole Pride Noble, a Winter Haven-based juice company, selected Sarasota-based Digital Observer Media to create a suite of websites, microsites and online marketing campaigns.
The Observer Media Group Inc., the parent company of the Business Observer, owns Digital Observer Media.

With the branding appearance and strategy direction from Seminole Brand Development, Digital Observer Media is creating the digital creative look, website functionality and online consumer marketing tactics for a new “pure” campaign that will run through Oct. 14. The new campaign is located at noblejuice.com/pure/.

Food Services Insurance Managers hires Tropics Software Technologies
Food Services Insurance Managers Inc. has chosen Sarasota's Tropics Software Technologies to modernize and expand the Roseville, Calif.-based company's workers' compensation insurance business.
Tropics Software Technologies will install and configure a new workers' compensation software for issuing and managing policies, billing and accounts receivable and handling certain claims processes. The new system will also integrate email messaging, business rules, workflow, document automation, loss control and business intelligence.
“[Food Services Insurance Managers] believes that with Tropics as its foundational software system, there is significant opportunity to grow into additional sectors of the economy, expand into other states, and with Tropics history of development and innovation, an opportunity to diversify into offering other insurance products,” Bridget Halvorson, CEO of Food Services Insurance Managers, says in a press release.
Discount Coupons Corp. buying San Diego daily deal site
Clearwater-based Discount Coupons Corp. has entered into a contract to acquire the operations of Half Price San Diego LLC, a San Diego daily deal website.
“We are very excited about purchasing another Southern California property that matches up well with our Cloops (cloops.com) acquisition and our Valley Best Deals website acquisitions,” Pat Martin, Discount Coupon's CEO, says in a press release. “With other properties that we are contemplating acquiring in Southern California, we believe that the cost of doing business will continue to decrease as our sales increase.”
