SARASOTA — First Florida Integrity Bank appointed longtime area banker Tom Martin to run its Sarasota division.

The Naples-based bank, formerly First National Bank of the Gulf Coast, named Martin senior vice president and Sarasota market executive. Martin will be based out of the bank's new downtown Sarasota satellite office.
Martin has been in banking for 30 years, the last 25 in Sarasota. He was most recently a senior lending officer at the Bank of Commerce in Sarasota.

“We are excited and thrilled at the opportunity to have Tom Martin join our bank and be the face of First Florida Integrity Bank in Sarasota,” Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer Jody Hudgins says in a release. “Tom's extensive banking history in Sarasota coupled with his outstanding reputation will help us meet our growth objectives in a very attractive market.”

Adds Martin: “I look forward to working with the experienced team of bankers to offer new lending opportunities in the Sarasota area. The new Sarasota satellite office will serve as a unique way to extend the First Florida Integrity Bank footprint to connect the Naples and Tampa locations.”

First Florida Integrity Bank has seven full-service offices and around $900 million in assets. The bank changed its name in June.
