PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
Publix Super Markets Inc. purchased the 63,779-square-foot Kingsway Crossing retail center north of State Road 60 for $8.2 million.

The price equated to $129 per square foot. That figure is lower than the two-year average price per square foot for retail space ($138) in the Tampa Bay area, according to the CoStar Group.

Built in 2003, the Brandon neighborhood center at the corner of Kingsway Road and Windhorst Road is anchored by a 44,271-square-foot Publix grocery store. Other tenants in the 15-store center include Hot Wok, Great Clips, Kingsway Dry Cleaners, Kumon Learning Center and Ocean Rayz Tanning.
