Primerica-affiliated company buys Woods of Moccasin Wallow land

SELLER: Redus Florida Land LLC
PROPERTY: the southwest corner of Moccasin Wallow Road and Interstate 75, Palmetto
PRICE: $3.6 million
LAW FIRM ON DEED: Shutts & Bowen LLP, Tampa

PLANS, DESCRIPTION:
An investment company led by Richard Trzcinski of Tampa-based Primerica Group One Inc./ Primerica Developments Inc. purchased 200 acres at an I-75 interchange for $3.6 million.

The price equated to $18,000 per acre.

The Woods of Moccasin Wallow includes 31 developed single-family residential lots. It is zoned for a total of 104 single-family lots, 268,206 square feet of retail and office space and 340,400 square feet of light industrial. The property is also east of the 2,800-unit Artisan Lakes development, which is currently being developed. Trzcinski says he will continue to develop the residential portion while evaluating the timing of the commercial.
