VENICE — Impact-resistant window and door manufacturer PGT hired two senior sales executives, including a new position for national accounts.

Doug Ferrante, according to a release, was named national account sales manager for the Venice-based manufacturer. Ferrante previously worked in sales and business development with health care firm H.D. Smith and Cardinal Health. The firm also named Jamison Eige regional sales manager for the Southwest Florida region. Eige has experience in the building products industry, including a sales position with AWP Windows and Doors.

PGT has been in comeback mode after a major decline in sales during the recession. The firm had $177.27 million in revenues through the first nine months of 2013.

“Expanding our sales leadership provides PGT with the ability to capitalize on the growth and momentum we see in the market place,” Vice President of Sales and Marketing Todd Antonelli says in the statement. “Doug and Jamison have the strategic and team building skills to help develop new opportunities and facilitate key relationships.”
