In the winner's circle

George Ebel, the Fort Myers entrepreneur profiled in last week's Business Observer, beat 150 other cars in a drag-racing competition in Immokalee shortly after the issue was published.

After his dragster suffered an engine blowout a month ago on the same track, Ebel broke his bad luck and went seven rounds to land in the winner's circle a week ago.
