PLANS, DESCRIPTION: The United Tennis Academy purchased The Racquet Club at El Conquistador for $1.55 million.

The club features 15 clay courts, a 3,300-square-foot clubhouse and bar and grill.

The academy, which has operated from leased space in the former Bradenton Prep Academy property, has relocated to the racquet club. It has renamed the seven-acre club the United Tennis Club at El Conquistador.

United Tennis has started minor improvements on the property, but over the long term the new owner is considering building a hard tennis court, fitness center and possibly a new clubhouse with a pool on the property.

The purchase entity UTA Holdings LLC mortgaged the property to Timothy and Barbara Roslansky as trustees of The Roslansky Family Trust for $500,000.
