Boy to lead HR group

Suzanne Boy is a fast-rising attorney with the Henderson Franklin law firm in Fort Myers.

You can add another job to her already busy schedule: president of the Human Resource Management Association of Southwest Florida. It's a group of more than 260 human-resource professionals dedicated to helping employers and employees at companies and organizations throughout Southwest Florida.

A native of LaBelle in Hendry County and the granddaughter of the late U.S. Sugar President John Buckner Boy, she was a winner of the Business Observer's 40 under 40 awards this year (you can read a story and watch a video about her here: businessobserver4040.com/suzanne-boy).

Boy, 34, focuses her practice on employment law, helping employers with employment-related litigation, claims and client counseling. She also is the lead blogger and editor of the Southwest Florida Employment Law Blog (swflemploymentlawblog.com).
