SARASOTA — Roper Industries Inc. has acquired Strategic Healthcare Programs LLC and Innovative Product Achievements LLC to add to its medical and scientific imaging segment. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Strategic Healthcare Program provides software and informatics solutions to the post-acute health care market. The company provides primarily data analytics to more than 3,000 post-acute organizations, such as home health, hospice and home infusion to track and improve performance.
Innovative Product Achievements, headquartered in Suwanee, Ga., manufactures automated surgical scrub dispensing equipment for acute-care hospitals and other health care providers. Its products, which are sold to more than 650 hospitals across North America, reduce replacement and processing costs for scrubs and linens.
“Strategic Healthcare Program's leading [software as a service] analytics platform expands our position and provides new opportunities in alternate site healthcare markets, further building on the positive momentum from last year's acquisition of Managed Health Care Associates,” Neil Hunn, group vice president for Roper's medical companies, says in a press release. “Innovative Product Achievements has developed an excellent reputation as a product and technology innovator, providing strong financial benefits to its hospital customers.”
Including the already announced Foodlink software acquisition, Roper has invested $303 million in acquisitions during the third quarter.
