SARASOTA — Area attorney Tom Shults, a shareholder with Kirk-Pinkerton, has been elected chairman of the Florida Law Network.
The Florida Law Network, according to a release, is made up of 13 law firms and 500 attorneys statewide. Firms in the network, founded 25 years ago by Holland & Knight attorneys, use their collective resources to help clients, the release states.
Shults was elected to the chair position during the organization's annual meeting held at the Longboat Key Club. Shults represents clients in a broad range of cases, including complex business and commercial disputes, probate and trust suits, construction project litigation and election law. He's past chairman of the Florida Bar Code and Rules of Evidence Committee and is currently on the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee.
