Roof supply exec elevates his role

SARASOTA — Longtime local construction executive Tom Campbell has been promoted to an expanded leadership role with ABC Supply Co.

The firm, an exterior building products distributor, named Campbell a managing partner, according to a release. Campbell oversees the Beloit, Wis.-based firm's Sarasota branch, a post he's held since 1995. A managing partnership, the company says, is the highest level of achievement among branch managers and the position gives Campbell a more prominent leadership role within the company. Campbell was also named to ABC Supply's National Branch Advisory Board.

Campbell, the release states, meets the firm's stringent criteria in customer satisfaction, associate development, improvements in branch performance, safety compliance and excellence in overall business practices. “Tom Campbell and the other branch managers who have been selected as managing partners have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a strong commitment to their teams, customers and communities, and we're delighted to recognize them for their world-class performance and results,” ABC Supply CEO David Luck says in the release.
 
ABC Supply is one of the largest wholesale roofing distributors in the country. It was founded in 1982 and now has more than 450 branches in 45 states.
