FORT MYERS — Tampa-based Validus Senior Living says it has been selected to manage Campo Felice, a 323-apartment senior-housing project on the waterfront in downtown Fort Myers.

Campo Felice will feature a grand lobby, movie theater, two pools, a 200-seat restaurant, fitness and wellness centers, beauty and barber salons, a pet concierge and personal storage facilities. It will be located at 2500 Edwards Drive on the former site of the Ramada Ambassador Hotel.

Headquartered in Tampa, Validus operates senior-living facilities throughout the Southeast. In addition to Campo Felice, the senior-living provider recently completed an agreement with developer Mark Bouldin to acquire Ivy Ridge Living in St. Petersburg and Hidden Lakes Living in Bradenton.
