FORT MYERS — Web services provider Yippy Inc. has bulked up its management ranks, including hiring a new chief operating officer.

Yippy named Errol Walsh chief operating officer. Walsh retired from IBM in 1993 after 31 years with the company and then served as CEO of Technology Support Corp. until 2006.

“We welcome Errol who over the last four years has become a trusted business adviser,” says Richard Granville, Yippy's CEO, in a statement.

Yippy also says it has hired John Paul Routhier III as the company's new chief consultant for sales and marketing. Routhier recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Crowe Paradis Services Corp., which was purchased by Verisk Analytics.

“My goal is to take the innovative enterprise solutions already created by Yippy and develop a strategic sales and marketing process to optimize revenue,” says Routhier in a statement.
