NAPLES — Fischer International Identity says it has forged a partnership with SHI International, which bills itself as the largest minority and woman-owned business in the U.S.

“We expect Fischer's identity solutions will meet our customer's growing demand for cloud-based security and infrastructure solutions and will be a catalyst to help our customers rapidly deploy technology to their end users,” says Ed McNamara, director of communications and marketing at SHI.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. New Jersey-based SHI is a $4 billion company that provides technology products and services to corporations, governments and academic institutions. It has more than 2,000 employees worldwide.

Naples-based Fischer provides identity management services such as password protection for large organizations. Read a recent Business Observer story about Fischer's growth.
