Fletcher Music names new president, COO

CLEARWATER - Clearwater-based Fletcher Music Centers (FMC) promoted 30-year FMC veteran Rick Dorn to president and chief operating officer, according to a news release.

Since 2011, Dorn has been executive vice president for the retail music company. After joining FMC in 1983, Dorn worked in various roles including store manager, regional manager and regional vice president.

Dorn lives in the Tampa Bay area and will oversee the 19 FMC retail stores, 13 in Florida and six in Arizona.

FMC is one of the nation's largest retail music chains and the world's largest retailer of home organs, according to the release. FMC is one of the nation's organs-only retailers that market solely to older Americans.
