How will the new climate agenda affect the economy?
No one knows.
During a speech at Georgetown University, President Barack Obama presented a climate plan hitting on a few topics involving the environment.
The main issue involving the business-sphere is a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in power plants. The president plans to limit emissions from future and existing plants, according to Politico.
So, coal plants naturally freaked out.
According to the Wall Street Journal they just want things to be fair. Don't we all coal plants, don't we all.
Apparently, some are afraid certain emission sources will be let off the hook, like petroleum-based fuels, for example.
What do you think this would do to jobs and how much money would it cost? What do you think?
