PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Jacob Spooner and his mother, Deborah Snidach, owners of the Bridge Street Bazaar retail store, purchased two adjacent lots for $775,000.

The property, nearly a quarter of an acre, is now used for the outdoor Bridge Street Market.

“We're eventually going to build a bigger store over there,” Spooner says. “We're just starting to get things going in motion on the design. We don't have a set time frame for it yet. We just saw this as an opportunity to expand.”

The retailer plans to create a roughly 6,000-square-foot store.

Spooner says the retail activity along Bridge Street has increased significantly the last few years.

The purchase entity Bridge Street Bazaar Inc. mortgaged the property to the former owner, Conch and Shell Holdings LLC, for $620,000.
