NAPLES — Three Realtors associations representing more than 7,000 agents agreed to combine their home-listing services.

The associations representing agents in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral and Naples agreed to combine their listings under the CoreLogic Matrix MLS system. The move allows agents to research home listings in an enlarged area of Southwest Florida.

“With the new MLS merger, members can do a better job with more complete and up-to-the-moment information,” says Wes Kunkle, president of Naples Area Board of Realtors. “Simply stated, we now have more accurate information and more information in one easily accessible spot.”

The availability of real-time information is crucial, real estate agents say. If data is not current, houses and condominiums that have recently sold may still be listed, frustrating the buyer, seller and agent.
