Texas roofing company covers Gulf Coast

PINELLAS PARK — Dallas-based Roofing Supply Group, one of the largest wholesale distributors of roofing supplies and related materials in the country, will expand to the Gulf Coast with a new office.

The new office, set to open in August in Pinellas Park, according to a release, will serve Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Sarasota counties. Donna Glisson, a 30-year veteran of the industry, will run the office. The facility is the 16th Roofing Supply Group location in the Southeast, the release states. “This new location will allow us to significantly expand our footprint in the Tampa Bay area,” Roofing Supply Group Florida District Manager Jack Gill says in the statement.

Roofing Supply Group, a unit of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a private equity firm with offices in New York and London, has 64 locations spread through 24 states. Each branch carries a complete line of roofing products for residential and commercial roofing. The firm, according to the release, hopes to continue expanding through organic growth, new locations and acquisitions.
