PLANS, DESCRIPTION: A purchase entity led by the CEO and CFO of The Eye Associates, John Swencki and Bob Marshall, purchased medical office buildings and land across from Black Medical Center for $6.1 million.

The purchase included The Eye Associates' 14,480-square-foot west Bradenton medical office building on Pointe West Boulevard. The acquisition also extended to a 3,875-square-foot and a 6,736-square-foot building and 1.2 acres of vacant land on West 60th Street.

Officials from The Eye Associates declined repeated requests to comment on the acquisition.

Founded in 1980, The Eye Associates currently operates five locations: two in Bradenton, Ellenton, Sarasota and Sun City.

Purchase entity OZ Holdings LLC mortgaged the property to the former owners, Eye Associates LLC, Tea LLC, Gallery LLC and S.S. Medical Group Inc. The firm provides medical, surgical and optical eye care, and cosmetic, dermatology and hearing services.
