TAMPA — Comprehensive Care Corp. has hired Kyle Chastain to serve as its chief financial officer. Chastain will fill the vacancy created by the departure of the company's former chief financial officer and chief accounting officer Robert Landis, who resigned from the company in September.

Chastain has served as a director of finance, regional controller or business process consultant for several publicly traded companies, such as International Paper, Siemens Westinghouse, Illinois Tool Works, Mosaic and Schwarz Partners. He is CEO and president of Professional Business Intelligence, a Lithia-based financial operations and accounting consulting business.

“Kyle is well equipped with the knowledge, expertise and energy needed to immediately hit the ground sprinting to help CompCare succeed,” Ramon Martinez, president of CompCare, says in a press release. “He will be instrumental in supporting our strategic direction and growth. Moreover, Kyle will be particularly helpful with the launch of our new pharmacy program in 2014.”

Created in 1969, Tampa-based CompCare provides behavioral health, substance abuse and pharmacy management services for employers.
