TAMPA, FORT MYERS — JetBlue Airways will expand its Florida service with daily nonstop flights to Tampa and Fort Myers from Hartford, Conn., starting Oct. 24, the company says in a statement.

The service will go year round from Hartford's Bradley International Airport to Tampa International Airport, and will run through the winter season from Hartford to Fort Myer's Southwest Florida International Airport. The flights will be operated using JetBlue's Airbus A320 fleet.

To celebrate, JetBlue has put the flights on sale through May 7 for $80 one way to Tampa and $90 one way to Fort Myers for travel between Oct. 24 and Nov. 20.

“Our new flights to Fort Myers and Tampa are testament to the success of our existing Bradley service and the continued support of the community and the ease of which it is to work with the Connecticut Airport Authority,” Scott Laurence, JetBlue's vice president of network planning and partnerships, says in the statement.
