Insurance firms to merge agencies

ENGLEWOOD — Two of the largest insurance companies in Englewood, Charlotte County, have merged.

The companies, Key Agency Insurance and Wampler Insurance and Financial Group, will officially join forces May 1, according to a release. Key Agency, run by David Dignam and Eric Fogo, has offices in North Port, Englewood and Boca Grande and has provided insurance and financial services since 1952. David Wampler has owned his own company, with an office in Englewood, for 30 years. Wampler will relocate to the Englewood Key Agency office in the near future, the release says.

“We will continue to provide the quality insurance, and financial services our clients have come to expect,” Dignam says in the statement. “We all are pleased to welcome Dave, and add him to the Key Agency team.”
