BONITA SPRINGS — The Terraces at Bonita Springs, a new luxury residential community for older adults, plans to hire 200 people next month.

The development will hold a two-day recruitment drive at Florida Gulf Coast University's Alico Arena May 10-11 to hire residential-care support staff, managers and health care professionals. Interested job candidates should be ready to interview with a resume at the arena.

Economic development organizations are assisting The Terraces in its recruitment efforts. These include Southwest Florida Works, the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council and the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.

“We are happy and willing to bring the resources necessary to provide a customized recruitment approach to The Terraces At Bonita Springs or any business in Southwest Florida seeking interns, on-the-job training and pre-screening of applicants,” says Joe Paterno, executive director of Southwest Florida Works, in a statement.

The Terraces is managed by SantaFe Senior Living in conjunction with SantaFe HealthCare, the not-for-profit parent company of Miami-based AvMed Health Plans, Florida's largest not-for-profit health plan.
