They must have been in a big hurry for those burritos.

More than 400 executives and employees from various companies gathered for the fifth annual Moe's corporate run in Naples recently, a race that pits firms against each other in a 5-kilometer race.

The reward: Bragging rights and Moe's tasty burritos after the race.

Patrick George was one of the big winners. The principal of Halstatt Management, the company that manages the financial assets of one branch of the Collier family in Naples, ran the distance in 20 minutes, 16 seconds. That pace (6 minutes, 30 seconds per mile) was fast enough to help Team Halstatt finish first in the real estate/legal/insurance division, beating out E.M. Prime Real Estate and Burzynski Elder Law.

Other speedy executives included attorney Jim Nici of Nici Law Firm (24:15), Arthrex General Counsel John Schmieding (22:44) and Joe Buckheit, the president of MediaBrains and AgingCare.com (23:51).

Besides Halstatt, other first-place finishers included Wells Fargo Advisors in the accounting/finance/banking division; NewsBank in the media/advertising/public relations division; Gutters Unlimited Plus in the engineering/architecture/construction division; and Fastenal in the retail/hotel/restaurant division.

Arthrex had the biggest showing at the race with 61 participants, and the team took first place in the medical/health/hospital division.
