People have already started pitching tents in front of stores like Best Buy to score Black Friday deals.

Black Friday is likely the most publicized shopping day of the year. One Business Review colleague — who shall remain nameless — said it was her favorite “holiday.”

Not to be forgotten, however, is Small Business Saturday.

Founded by American Express in 2010, last year more than 100 million people “shopped small” in their communities according to research commissioned by American Express.
